Aurino Jottar

Self-taught artist, Aurino Jottar draws from the childhood. AT the age of17, he began to devote himself professionnaly to art. He is found of street art, which influences his entire artistic career to nowadays. His first exhibitions were in Casa de Cultura in Recife, between 1998 to 2001, under the supervision of the renowned Brazilian artist Eugenio Paxelly. He worked as a volunteer instructor of graphite and drawing under the coordination of Unesco.


In 2004 and 2005 he was responsible for all the scenographic and artistic painting of some cultural events in Recife and Aparecida do Norte. In 2006, in Geneva, he learned the profession of traditional Sertisseur, where he had the opportunity to work for the houses of the highest range in Swiss jewelry and watchmaking.


Aurino participated in exhibitions in Sao Paulo, Switzerland, Lienchtenstein, Triensen, Miami, Vienna, Paris and Portugal. He maintains a unique language in what he does, but lets him suffer mutations, not losing his origins. WIthout sticking to artistic concepts, he discovers in each work a peculiar change in composition, making it ephemeral and not respecting the rules he has sewn in earlier paintings.
